Secretariat and Volunteers

The Society is made up of a Council which consists of:

President, Immediate Past President, Vice-President, Honorary Secretary,  Honorary Treasurer, and at least nine ordinary members. The policies formed by the Council are supported by active committees:

General Purposes, Scientific Programmes, Education, Membership, International Journal, Publicity and Recruitment, Social and the Regional Development Groups

SCS membership is made up of individual members who are either working in the cosmetic science industry or are involved in an allied industry.  All council and committee members are volunteers.

Gem provides leadership for the Society and is responsible for operational management, constitutional requirements and her duties range from financial control to event organisation.  Gem and her team are all supported by the hard work of volunteers from within the SCS membership who give their valuable time on committees and council.

 

Mel Cheekoory  MEL CHEEKOORY – SCS ADMINISTRATOR

Mel is responsible for the SCS membership and general admnistration for the Society.

 

Ursula Lavis  URSULA LAVIS - EDUCATION ADMINISTRATOR

Ursula looks after the administration of the Society's Distance Learning Course.
